For the past 50 years, Callaway Gardens in the State of Georgia, USA, has reserved the Memorial Day weekend to host one of the Worlds most prestigious waterski and wakeboard events on the international calendar. On May 22nd / 24th, the highest ranked athletes in the world will once again head to Robin Lake to try to capture a Masters title. Following a half century of outstanding success, this will be quite a special occasion for all.

The Robin Lake site at Callaway Gardens was built specifically for the Masters. It includes an impressive pavilion grandstand with stadium seating, beach and picnic areas and is surrounded by immaculate gardens, golf courses, resort hotels and spa.

The survival and success of the Masters over the past half century owes much to the unique relationship developed between the Callaway family and the title sponsors, CorrectCraft. They provide all the specialized boats for the event and also bring their extensive management skills to the task. Founded in 1925, CorrectCraft and their Nautique brand, have consistently attracted world-wide admiration for their many innovations, cutting-edge technology and commitment to making this annual event such a success. They are also the official boat supplier for the Water Ski World Championships later this year and scheduled for Calgary, Canada, on August 3rd/9th.

Securing an invitation to compete in the Masters is a major challenge for the World's top Waterskiers and Wakeboarders. World Champions and World Record holders are at the top of the list. However, a consistent history of securing major titles is the key to competing on the blue waters of Robin Lake on this Memorial Day weekend. This year, athletes from the following 15 nations earned their invitations : France, Belarus, Belgium, Argentina, Colombia, Australia, Canada, Greece, Great Britain, Italy, New Zealand, Denmark, Mexico, Czech Republic, and of course the USA.

Included in the lineup of Waterski and Wakeboard stars will be the World Slalom Champions Nicole Arthur and Will Asher - both from Great Britain, World Tricks Champions Clementine Lucine and Nicolas LeForestier, both from France, and World Jump Champions, Ageliki Andriopoulou Greece and Freddy Krueger USA. The defending Wakeboard Masters Champions will also be there to thrill the Memorial Day fans, Rusty Malinoski from Canada and Dallas Friday USA. As usual, the Junior Masters will precede this spectacle and this is where the stars of the future have their chance to shine on the big stage.
