Visiting The Wall That Heals for most people is a very moving event. It will be open 24 hours a day during its short stay at Pleasant Harbor from March 14 through 17.

VVMF seeks sites that can provide a welcoming, quiet atmosphere, large enough to accommodate the two main components of The Wall That Heals, and that can be open to the public 24 hours a day, typically from a Wednesday
through a Sunday. Before, during, and after, VVMF staff work with hosting organizations to assist with program and event development to transform The Wall That Heals visit into a lasting impact for their community. Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund
The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF) is the nonprofit organization that founded the Vietnam Veterans Memorial (The Wall) in Washington, D.C., in 1982. VVMF is the organization that partners with the National Park Service to maintain and care for The Wall, The Three Servicemen statue, flagpole, and In Memory plaque.
VVMF’s mission is to honor and preserve the legacy of service in America and educate all generations about the impact of the Vietnam War and era. We honor the service of all, preserve the memory of those who died during the war and since returning home, and educate all generations about the lasting impact of the war.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with no government funding, VVMF’s programs, ceremonies and education efforts are dependent upon your generous donations.
