Letter To The Editor From The Editor

Greetings.

I hope that you will find time for and interest in these scholarships that are available to Arizona students. The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and Auxiliary members administer these scholarships each year and encourage our students to express their Americanism and Patriotism thoughts through our scholarship programs.

  • Patriot’s Pen (6th, 7th, 8th grades)
  • Voice of Democracy (grades 9-12)
  • Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest (grades 9-12)

By participating in our scholarship programs, students show support for our country in their own words or in their art work and are able to earn money for their further education.

Please share with any students you know who might be interested in participating. Entry forms and more information are available at https://vfwauxiliary.org › scholarships.

When the entry form is complete, please mail it to Carol Allen, c/o VFW Auxiliary Post 3513,  7220 E Wilshire Dr, Scottsdale, AZ 85257

If you have comments or questions, please email me at editor@azbw.com and put “SCHOLARSHIPS” in the subject line.

Thank you,
