(Phoenix, AZ - June 8, 2009) - Bible scholar David Oberpriller will teach
botany, history, and scripture as he guides visitors on a relaxing walk
along wheelchair accessible trails through Boyce Thompson Arboretum State
Park. The two-hour tour begins at 8:30am Saturday, June 20.
Oberpriller will point out plants growing at the Arboretum that are
mentioned in the Bible.
Trees of the Arboretum Guided Walk
Sunday, June 21 from 8:30am until 10:30am. The guided walk tours are free
with admission.
Special guest tour guide Terry Mikel will guide visitors through the
forested areas of the Arboretum. On this leisurely tour visitors will
learn about the towering sycamore and cottonwood trees, native hackberry,
mesquite and many more.

historic Superior on U.S. Highway 60 in the shadow of Picket Post
