Meet us every Thursday night in June at Cabela’s where we’ll talk about a specific urban lake — including how it’s stocked and what the fish are biting. Get your gear and make a date to join us on the following Saturday nights (at press time) for a family fishing tournament.

We’ll meet at a local lake for a Hot Summer Night Urban Lakes Fun Fishing Tournament. We’ll have prizes and lots of bottled water to keep you cool, and lots of volunteers who will help you and your family catch a big one!

June 4, 7 p.m. — Featured Urban Lake: Rio Vista

June 6, 6 p.m. — Hot Summer Nights Fishing Tournament at Rio Vista Lake

June 11, 7 p.m. — Featured Lake: Surprise

June 13, 6 p.m. — Hot Summer Nights Fishing Tournament at Surprise Lake

June 18, 7 p.m. — Featured Urban Lake: Desert West

June 20, 6 p.m. — Hot Summer Nights Fishing Tournament at Desert West Lake

June 25, 7 p.m. — Featured Urban Lake: Estrella Mountain

June 27, 6 p.m. — Hot Summer Nights Fishing Tournament at Estrella Mountain Lake

Each tournament you fish, you qualify to enter your name into the drawing for the Hot Summer Nights Urban Lakes Fishing Tournament Grand Prize Drawing — a $200 fishing package! Fish four nights and enter four times.

Current Arizona Game and Fish license and stamps are required. Details and maps provided on Thursday pre-tournament meetings at Cabela’s.
