"When the newly constructed facilities were opened in the spring of 1977 at Lake Pleasant, a cruising, educational and social club for sail boaters was proposed. The Lake Pleasant Sailing Club (LPSC) was formed at the lake in September 1977. Our first Commodore was George Lauman, who was re-elected in 1978. George is now our Senior Staff Commodore." We are busy working out the final details for the Ladies Day @ the Lake. There are a few things we are looking for members to pitch in and help with.
First, we are looking for a host for Gail Hines who is coming in from California. She will be staying over on Friday night and Saturday night. If someone who has a spare room could host her it would save the club the cost of putting her up in a hotel. She is a nice woman who loves to sail.
Second, there is still room in the CPR class. You can get certified in CPR for only $12 (the facility cost and cost to process your card). It is a bargain. If you are interested, we need to schedule you so please let me know ASAP. Who knows, you could save my life!
Lastly, if you want to volunteer, let Bruce know. Give him a call at 602-499-3844.
It looks like it will be a lot of fun.
