June 13 and 14th, 2009 was the 2nd annual Puerto Penasco Deep Sea Fishing Tournament sponsored by the
Rocky Point Convention and Visitors Bureau. Boats from Mexcio, CA and AZ enjoined a fun day of fishing
the Sea of Cortez at Rocky Point, Sonora, Mexico.
Weigh in was alot of fun for everyone in anticipation
of which boat brought in the biggest catch. Believe this or not it was a mexcian ponga boat owner, not
one of the fancy power boats, who brought in a 80 lb. Grouper. Yes, Groupers are running this time of
year here at rocky point.
