Three states. One message. Boating safety.

Once again, Arizona, California, and Nevada will present the annual Tri-State Boating Safety Fair; this will be the sixth year that the three states have combined their concern that boating be a safe sport, not only in each state, but on all waterways.

There are many safety-related events planned, many for the whole family. There are giveaways, information booths, life jacket trade-ins, courtesy vessel safety checks and more.

One of the most popular and valuable of these events is the annual life jacket trade-in. From 9 a.m.-2 p.m., visitors may bring in their unsafe or outgrown life jackets and exchange them for new ones — as long as supplies last.
