AYC’s “First in the Nation” Leukemia Cup Regatta (LCR) raises funds to fight the number one cancer in children, during our biggest event of the year, the AYC Birthday Regatta, Feb. 18-19-20, 2022.

Arizona Yacht Club is one of 45 United States yacht clubs hosting Leukemia Cup events. AYC members have raised over $725,000 to fund the groundbreaking work of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).
LLS is the largest nonprofit dedicated to creating a world without blood cancer, which accounts for 10 percent of all new cancer cases in the United States and is the third leading cause of cancer deaths. LLS has played a direct role in over 85 percent of blood cancer treatments and therapies approved by the FDA in the past few years, dramatically improving patient outcomes.

On Saturday night of the Birthday Regatta our top Leukemia Cup individual, team and fleet fundraisers will be recognized. But the campaign doesn’t end with the Birthday Regatta. Fund raising continues throughout the year with opportunities to win prizes and raise more!
