Dobson Dolphins Beat The Heat

"What could be more "Arizona" than trying to beat the heat by swimming during the summer?" That is the common-sense question asked by Jennifer Botiller, Dobson Dolphins Swim Team Committee president.

The Dobson Dolphins summer meets, with the exception of their Home Meet, are all City of Mesa meets.

The team practices Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m-11 a.m., divided into four different age groups: 13-17 swim at 7 a.m., 11-12 swim at 8 a.m., 9-10 swim at 9 a.m., and 8 and under swim at 10 a.m.

June events include the following:

June 8, 6 p.m. Freestyle Meet at Brimhall
June 15, 6 p.m. Backstroke Meet at Mesa Jr.
June 22, 6 p.m. Butterfly Meet at Stapley
June 24, 6 p.m. Dual Meet at Powell
June 29, 6 p.m. Breaststroke Meet at Shepherd
June 30, 6 p.m. IM Meet at Taylor
