Diane and Wayne Jenness of Phoenix weighed a total of 14.08 pounds for six fish to win the All Star Bass Couples tournament on Lake Pleasant on May 20. Their total included a 4.84-pounder that took Big Fish of the Tournament. Wayne and Diane fished Texas-rigged worms on points and humps along the west side of the lake near Pipeline. They took home $1,800.

On June 10, Rod and Viki Nelson of Buckeye won the All Star Couples at Roosevelt with a six-fish limit that tipped the scales at 20.71 pounds. They spent the day in the Salt arm fishing topwaters early, then switching to Carolina rigs later in the day. Their catch included a 4.58-pound bass, and they won $2,200.

George Lorz and Rod Nelson won the June 3 Best Bet at Roosevelt with 18.10 pounds. They shared $2,641 for their win.

On May 20, Harold and Patty Chavez won the ABA Team tournament at Roosevelt Lake. They weighed in 16.71 pounds and took home $2,820.

Yuma, AZ schedule (teams)

Lee Dunfee & Ryan Rogers brought 20.31 pounds to the scales to win the May 20 Yuma ABA team tournament at Fisher’s Landing. Their catch included a 6.87-pounder, and they took home $1,520.

Jim Furr and Tim Jacobs won the Monterey Team tournament May 27 at Lake Pleasant, beating 73 teams. They weighed 15.83 pounds and cashed checks totaling $3,222.
