Mid-February To Mid-March Tournament Results

The ABA Central Arizona Region tournament at Pleasant on March 1 was won by Taylor Hale and Bradley Meade with 9.21 pounds.  They shared $1,705.

The Anglers Choice Central at Roosevelt March 15 was won by Ryan and Rodney Mills, who took home $860 for 11.35 pounds. 
Mike Nugent took first place at the MBC Young Guns at Bartlett on Feb. 24 with 5.73 pounds.  Congratulations, Mike!

 Mike and Ruth Goodwin took home $1,022 for their 15.48 pound sack at the MBC Couples’ tournament March 8 at Havasu.  At the same time, Dan Marasco and Thomas Dwyer won the MBC Pro-Am held in conjunction with the Couples’.  Marasco and Thomas weighed in 15.52 pounds, good for a combined total of $2,450.

Dean and Tanya Kruezer won the MBC Senior Team Tournament at Bartlett on Feb. 23 with 9.40 pounds, good for checks totaling $2,490.

Curtis Crecelius and Steve Almquist won $3,655 at the National Bass West tournament at Fisher’s Landing on March 8 with a total weight of 16.64 pounds.

Fishing should be excellent this month, and there are plenty of tournaments from which to choose.   Keep your livewell pumps on and don’t leave your fish in the bag for long — it’s more important than ever to keep them healthy and release them alive and frisky.
