It’s Here! Annual Show Draws RVers, Outdoors EnthusiastsThe Arizona Sportsmen’s, Vacation and RV Show makes traveling easy. The outdoor enthusiast and avid traveler will see the 2008 motor homes, travel trailers, fifth-wheels, toy-haulers and campers. Attendees can learn about the latest innovations and trends in the outdoor market as well as get life-saving tips that will be helpful in any environment. Outdoor extremists looking to explore the mountain air in areas their RVs cannot, will see a collection of the newest ATVs, motorcycles and sand rails. Dealers will be featuring Kawasaki, Polaris, Yamaha, Seadoo and Arctic Cat. Plan An RV Adventure Ever thought of planning an RV adventure? John Holod, award-winning filmmaker and travel expert, will be sharing his knowledge of RV traveling. Holod and his co-producer Jodie Ginter travel across the world in a state-of-the art recreation vehicle, immersing themselves in the culture and surroundings. They will be on hand to answer questions and help save time and money on your next RV adventure. Seminar times will be Thursday, 1 p.m.–7 p.m., Friday, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m., Saturday, 11 a.m.–7 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m.– 4 p.m. Fly-Tying Takes The Stage Who says fly tying is a lost art? Local artisans Tony Dialombardo and Robert Parker will be demonstrating the talents and techniques of fly tying. Fishermen will enjoy the secrets of creating imitations to lure in the perfect catch. Experts will have seminars for adult and youth audiences Thursday-Sunday at the Fly Tie Theater. Convenient Hours, Low Prices The Annual Arizona Sportsmen’s, Vacation and RV Show, taking place at the Phoenix Convention Center. The event will be open Thursday, Feb. 28 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday, Feb. 29 from noon to 9 p.m.; Saturday, March 1 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, March 2 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Ticket prices are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and $5 for juniors (7-12).
