Ventura County In-Water Boat Show Marks12th AnnualAt Fisherman's Village Wharf In Channel Islands HarborOXNARD , Calif. — Beautiful Channel Islands Harbor celebrates its hosting of the 12 th annual Ventura County In-Water Boat Show at the Fisherman's Village Wharf area, with a venue for hundreds of sail and power boats, plus an extensive array of watercraft. Scheduled from Thursday, July 12, through Sunday, July 15, the show presented by Vintage Marina Partners and co-sponsored by the County of Ventura Harbor Dept. features more than 125 in-water boats with plenty of 2007 and 2008 models. The show draws “thousands of boating enthusiasts every year,” said Ray Hebert, event producer. “This year will be the 12th annual presentation of this exciting show, which has become a well-established and well-attended event,” relates Hebert, noting last year's sales of more than 50 boats worth $7 million of inventory. The outstanding reputation of this show makes it “the biggest little boat show in California . ” This maritime extravaganza will also be supplemented by more than 100 land trailer boats and personal watercraft — and over 100 sponsor and exhibitor displays, featuring kayaks, inflatables, fishing boats and related equipment, plus state-of-the-art marine accessories, electronics, apparel and services. Guests also can enjoy a waterside food and beverage garden with continuous live musical entertainment. Show hours are noon to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 12, and Friday, June 13; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, and 10 a.m. to 5 pm. on Sunday, July 15. Starting Friday, July 13, admission is $10 for adults, with plenty of $2-off coupons available from participating retailers and businesses along the tri-county coast.
