INSPECTIONS CONDUCTED -- The Vessel Inspectors are proud to say that they inspected many boats at Lake Pleasant on May 17and covered most of the other Arizona lakes during the Safe Boating Week in May. The Coast Guard Auxiliary and the Squadron worked well together to ensure safe boating. Both groups request that all help spread the safe-boating word.  In just a few minutes of your time, the groups can keep you abreast of new boating laws, ensure you know how to properly use your safety equipment, and much more.  Call the USPS Squadron (623) 566-3044, the Coast Guard Auxiliary (480) 899-3374, and/or check out the Arizona Game and Fish Department's online or in-person classes. All of these people are doing an outstanding job of making boating safe for Arizona.
