Henri and Lynda Breault, owners of Salt River Tubing & Recreation, received the USDA Forest Service 2007 Southwestern Partnership Award early this fall in Albuquerque, N.M. Bob Dyson, Apache Sitgraves National Forest public information officer, commended Salt River Tubing’s efforts that exemplify the spirit of collaboration and partnership in the management of National Forests and Grasslands.  The Southwestern Partnership Award honored four of Salt River Tubing & Recreation’s programs: “Salt River Heroes = Litter Zero,” “Bag it for Bucks,” “Fire & Water Safety Expo,” and “More Kids in the Woods” Pirates on Salt River event.  Macario Herrera, USFS Region 3 partnership coordinator, presented the award to the Breaults at the Southwest Partnership Event.
