Seattle, WA (January 21st, 2019): Seattle Yachts, an established boat dealer and brokerage firm with offices in the Pacific Northwest and South Florida, has acquired Cabrillo Yacht Sales in San Diego. This announcement comes on the heels of Seattle Yachts opening their first east coast office in Palm Beach, Florida in 2018. Cabrillo Yacht Sales and Seattle Yachts share the same new boat brands, Northwest and Tayana.
“It was a natural fit for us to acquire Cabrillo Yacht Sales given that we share some of the same brands, but also because of Seattle Yacht’s growth strategy,” said Peter Whiting, Seattle Yacht’s Managing Partner.“Cabrillo’s location, which is on Americas Cup Harbor on N. Harbor Drive in San Diego, gives us penetration into a market where we already know our customers areeither in or cruising to as a destination.”

The Cabrillo acquisition now gives Seattle Yachts a presence in Seattle, WA, Anacortes, WA, San Diego, CA, Palm Beach, FL, as well as satellite brokers in the San Juan Islands and the Philippines. “We are excited for the future,” continued Peter. “Having locations in major boating destinations on both coasts will truly allow us to serve our customers better and expand our new yacht offerings.”
